Lesson Plan: "Moments 4 Life" (Middle School)

This engaging lesson plan explores Nicki Minaj’s lyrics and historical figure Pharaoh Hatshepsut for middle schoolers. Students will employ Hip Hop’s fifth element, Knowledge of Self and Community and encourage them to reflect and consider their leadership and legacy. This is an enlightening and entertaining way for students to learn about an unfamiliar leader through a familiar artist’s lyrics and how they expressed their “Moments 4 Life.”
